Wallpaper fit for a Queen at Tree Tops

John Brown was commissioned in 1976 to design a wallpaper to commemorate the 25th stay of the then Princess Elizabeth and Prince Philip in 1952 at the Tree Tops Hotel in Kenya.

Lady Berwick of Attingham Hall

Heather Game is well known in dramatic circles in Shrewsbury for her acting and singing, having taken part in numerous productions initially for Shrewsbury Operatic Society and then within in her own company, Game Productions, which she set up with her husband Peter Game. Recently she could be seen in a film shown at our Darwin exhibition on the life of Young Charles playing the part of Mrs Darwin.

Heather was a costumed guide at Attingham Hall for 18 years, entertaining visitors with stories from the past, particularly of Lady Berwick.

The Evolution of Dance

Maggie’s talk on The Evolution of Dance will take you on a journey through the dance forms of Western Civilisation and its influence on Social History.

Maggie’s career has included West End musicals, films, top drama schools and a stint in America. She is a dance /movement specialist with Royal credits. Her work has encompassed a variety of Shakespeare productions and Festivals across the World, and she is employed as the choreographer/ movement specialist for Film, Television and Classical Theatre.
